Decided to honor Jane in this anniversary year with The Last Gift: An Austenesque Short Story, with special pricing: no charge. So, I am reaching out to subscribers to my newsletter. If you have not yet read the story or want to “purchase” a copy for your electronic library, this is your chance.
As we approach Jane Austen's death day in the 250th Anniversary year of her birth, I am offering my short story (pub 4/15/25), "The Last Gift," which explores the question, What if death was only the beginning for Jane Austen at no charge for the e-book. The story dives into what all of us have done in the #Austenesque world, accept her creations as reality.
The Last Gift (4,700 words) landed well when I published it in April. It is intended to fit within a Christmas vibe—sort of—to coincide with Austen’s Advent birth date.

Neville,
Thank you for your gracious comment. I am so sorry you are experiencing this pain and that "The Last Gift" offered a moment of comfort. DJ
I hope people will take advantage of this offer. I already have, and have read "The Last Gift". It provides a glimpse into the afterlife of Jane Auaten, and allows for the reader to imagine what more there might be. Having just lost my only sister, I can only hope that even for those of us who can only create in our minds can be equally blessed.
